Connect Your LinkedIn

Follow these 4 simple steps — takes less than a minute

1

Open LinkedIn in your browser

Make sure you're logged in to your account

🔗 Open LinkedIn.com

Already open? Great — you can skip this step.

2

Open the Developer Tools panel

This is built into Chrome — no install needed

On a Mac:

⌘ Cmd + ⌥ Option + I

On Windows / Linux:

F12  or  Ctrl + Shift + I

💡 A panel will slide open on the right side or bottom of your browser. If it doesn't appear, right-click anywhere on the LinkedIn page and choose Inspect.

3

Find the li_at cookie

Navigate to: Application → Cookies → linkedin.com

Click through these tabs in the DevTools panel:

Application Cookies https://www.linkedin.com
Elements Console Sources Network Application
▼ Storage
▼ Cookies
https://www.linkedin.com

li_at — this is the one you need. Right-click its value row and choose Copy value, or click the value once to select it then copy with ⌘C / Ctrl+C.

4

Paste the value here and connect

The value starts with "AQEDAT…" and is about 100 characters long

📋

🔒 Your value is sent securely over HTTPS and stored only as a session file — never shared or logged.

💡 Why do I need this?
This tool controls a browser to search LinkedIn on your behalf. To do that it needs your login session — the li_at cookie is exactly that. Sessions last several weeks; you'll only need to do this once.
